Welkom in de fantasierijke werelden van Tim Burton! Laat je meenemen op een muzikale reis langs de films en verhalen die zijn unieke universum onvergetelijk hebben gemaakt. Op 17 oktober om 20.00 uur vindt dit bijzondere concert plaats in de sfeervolle Posthoornkerk in Amsterdam.
Van de betoverende wereld van Alice in Wonderland en de feestelijke magie van The Nightmare Before Christmas tot de melancholische klanken van Edward Scissorhands en de excentrieke wereld van Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: tijdens dit concert komen de soundtracks die Burtons bijzondere filmwereld vormgeven tot leven.
Centraal staat de muziek van Danny Elfman, Burtons jarenlange muzikale samenwerkingspartner en een van de meest herkenbare filmcomponisten van deze tijd. Zijn muziek combineert speelsheid met spanning en tederheid met grootsheid, perfect passend bij Burtons visuele fantasie. Daarnaast hoor je muziek uit onder meer Corpse Bride, de cultklassieker Beetlejuice, het duistere Batman en Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
