Pēteris Vasks – Strijkkwartet nr. 4
De Letse componist Pēteris Vasks geeft in zijn vierde strijkkwartet een stem aan de wisselwerking tussen duisternis en hoop. Met intens expressieve lijnen en een bijna meditatieve sfeer roept hij beelden op van de ongerepte Baltische natuur en de menselijke zoektocht naar harmonie.
Arvo Pärt – ‘Fratres’
