Threeds Saxophone Trio: Nonthapat Chaiviratnukul, Jen-Hong Wu, Joseph Moruzzi (saxofoon)
Threeds Trio was formed in 2023 by members of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam saxophone class: Nonthapat Chaiviratnukul (soprano saxophone), Jen-Hong Wu (alto saxophone), and Joseph Moruzzi (baritone saxophone). The Threeds Trio later welcomed saxophonist Tessa Frazer, who now serves as the alto saxophonist in the ensemble.
With members from Thailand, Taiwan, the United States, and New Zealand, Threeds Trio offers a distinctly international artistic perspective. The ensemble is committed to advancing the saxophone trio as a chamber music format by expanding its repertoire through carefully crafted transcriptions and newly commissioned and original works, highlighting the full expressive range and artistic potential of the instrumentation.
