Currently studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Maria Lădar is an 18-year-old young romanian guitarist who masterfully blends classical and contemporary elements in her performances. With the passion of a true artist, Maria transforms each chord into an emotional story.
In her artistic career, Maria has been on the podium at over 50 national and international classical guitar competitions, including the Golden Lyre National Performance Competition, the Szeged International Guitar Festival, and the Harmonia Cordis Guitar Festival. Maria developed a love for applause at a young age and has had the pleasure of delighting audiences more and more frequently as she has grown, performing in over 60 concerts and events.
Throughout her career, Maria has received support through scholarships from the Union of Romanian Musical Performers, the Romanian Academy’s Youth Dialogue, the MOL
Scholarship, and the Laureates’ Gala “10 for Cluj.”
