The distinctive Rosenstock-Huessy Huis is located in Haarlem’s historic Burgwal district. The complex comprises several buildings with a long history of caring for vulnerable people. Today, it is one of Stadsherstel’s event venues in Haarlem.

The history of the Rosenstock-Huessy Huis is, above all, a history of caring for others. This care was provided at Sint Jacobs Godshuis, as the complex was known in the city until 1972. That year, it was renamed the Rosenstock-Huessy Huis and became known as a venue for political and social debate and as a cultural centre.

Welcoming and professional
The building serves many purposes. It is home to residents, offices, a restaurant and childcare facilities. It also has three rooms available for occasional hire: the Chapel, the Library and the Mirror Room. These flexible spaces are suitable for choir and ballet rehearsals, lectures, receptions, concerts, yoga and other small events.
