About Illia Fialko:
Illia Fialko was born in 2000 into a family of musicians. His father thought Illia would choose the violin as he once had, but his mother noticed that Illia was more attracted to the piano. At the age of five, his parents sent Illia to a music school where he showed great enthusiasm for classical music and wanted to work hard for it.
After several years, the parents realized that their son wanted to connect his life with music and they decided to send him to an excellent teacher at the Lysenko music school in Kiev where he studied in 2007-2018. During this period, Illia became the laureate of many international competitions and gave concerts in Ukraine and abroad. The turning point in his life was the “International Chamber Music Festival” in Ede organized by Anna Fedorova, daughter of Illia’s teacher, Borys Fedorov.
After the concerts and masterclasses in Ede, The Hague and Amsterdam, Illia realized that he only had one dream, to study in the Netherlands. A year later this dream came true and now Illia is a bachelor third year student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the class of professor Naum Grubert.
