Elevato Piano Recital uitgevoerd door de getalenteerde Laetitia Hahn en Philip Hahn.

Op 6 oktober 2024 zal de historische Vondelkerk in Amsterdam het toneel zijn voor het Elevato Pianorecital, een uitzonderlijk concertevenement met de Duitse pianovirtuozen Laetitia en Philip Hahn. Dit evenement, georganiseerd door de artistieke directeur Michele Howland, belooft een onvergetelijke ervaring te worden voor liefhebbers van klassieke muziek.

Laetitia Hahn, een internationaal erkende pianiste, en haar broer Philip, een opkomend pianotalent, zullen het publiek betoveren met een breed scala aan werken, variërend van klassieke tot moderne composities. Beide artiesten zijn bekend om hun diepgaande interpretaties en technische virtuositeit.

Het concert is verdeeld in twee sessies: een middagconcert om 14:30 uur met Laetitia en Philip Hahn, gevolgd door avondrecitals met getalenteerde pianisten van over de hele wereld. Deze bijeenkomst biedt een platform voor jong talent en geeft het publiek de kans om de rijkdom van de pianomuziek te ontdekken.

Biograpies

Laetitia Hahn (2003) began to play piano at the age of two. At age four she started school, and at age fourteen she graduated from high school. In 2011, she performed in her first solo concert. In 2012 she entered Pre-college, and in the same year she played at the award ceremony for the international Mendelssohn Award for the former German President, Dr. Richard von Weizsäcker. Hahn also played with Lang Lang in Munich, and on Chinese television in front of an audience of 120 million people.

Hahn won numerous competitions and was appointed “music ambassador” by Lang Lang. She was later appointed the ambassador of the “Belgian National Orchestra” and the Aachener News’ “People 2014”. At ten years old, she gave her recital debut and her orchestral debut. At eleven years old, she toured through Europe with a sophisticated Liszt program. Up until today, she is the youngest of her age to play a Liszt recital 90 minutes in length. At age twelve, Hahn became a Kawai artist. At age fifteen she debuted as a conductor with the Alion Baltic Symphony Orchestra and had the premiere of her own Peace Piano Concerto “Weapons of Light” with Radio Moldovia. She gives masterclasses and is a juror in competitions. She played in important concert halls and with prestigious orchestras, such as the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra / Peter Sanderling, Baden-Baden Philharmonic / Carlos Dominguez-Nieto, the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn with Caroline Nordmeyer or the Ukrainian State Orchestra / Volodymir Sirenko.

Philip Hahn (2009) started playing the piano at the age of one and became a youngstudent at the age of four. He started school at the age of five and made his orchestral debut in the Philharmonie in Essen with Joseph Haydn’s Piano Concerto Hob. XVIII: 11, which he later performed again with the Mihail Jora Philharmonic Orchestra in Bacau. He made his solo debut while touring in the Netherlands and Germany at the age of eight. At nine he made his conducting debut with the Alion Baltic Symphony Orchestra while conducting from the grand piano. In the same year he performed his Piano Concerto for Peace “Weapons of Light” with the Radio Moldova Sinfony Orchestra and Franz Schottky, which was broadcast live and reached 1.2 million listeners in Moldova. There he also performed the Mozart Concerto in D minor with Franz Schottky and later the first Mendelssohn Concerto in Munich. Hahn is also involved in peace and charity events, such as the Ronald McDonald Gala in Vienna and for orphans in Thailand and Romania. He played at renowned festivals such as the Mosel Music Festival or the South Tyrolean Festival. He won numerous competitions such as the Paderewski International Competition/USA. Philip has given concerts in important concert halls worldwide, both as a soloist and with philharmonic orchestras such as the Ukrainian State Orchestra/Vlodymir Sirenko. In 2021 he made a duo tour with his sister Laetitia in Europe. In 2020 he played the role of young Mozart in the film “Il Boemo” directed by Petr Vaclav, which will have its cinema premiere in October 2022. Here Hahn played works by Mozart, Mislivecek and his own composition on a Hammerklavier.
