Horizon Quartet is a clarinet quartet formed by four talented and passionate young musicians who came together at the prestigious Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Our music is a celebration of diversity, starting with Fran Ramirez and José Manuel Acevedo from Spain, continuing with Marco Conti from Italy, and finally reaching Vladyslav Petryk from Ukraine.
Our music project reflects determination to navigate the echoes of music without fear and with enthusiasm, opening a range of styles always ready to surprise and delight our audience, from the Spanish Andalusian touches to vibrant jazz sonorities.
In the programme of this concert you will be able to listen to dance music such as the characteristic musical genre of Latin America and the Caribbean called Tango, passing through the music of the Austrian composer Alfred Uhl, and continuing with the traditional Spanish music of the composer Bernardo Adam Ferrero performing a tribute to Manuel de Falla.
Also, you will hear the lively piece by the English Composer Gordon Jacob. The piece by the Italian baroque composer Tomaso Albinoni, with the novelty of the incorporation of a different instrument that will add a new higher colour such as the E flat Clarinet.
The charasteristic traditional romanian dances of Béla Bartók and as a last piece, pure jazz style where you can feel all fun in everyone.
Horizon Quartet is not just a music group; it is a musical journey without limits. We invite you to join us on this musical voyage, where each piece is a new exploration and a celebration of musical diversity. Through our music, we hope to inspire, connect, and make a positive difference in the world.
