Elke eerste dinsdag van de maand treden studenten van het Conservatorium van Amsterdam op in de Posthoornkerk. Ontdek nieuw talent als eerste in deze serie van Stadsherstel en het Conservatorium.
“We are a brass quintet consisting of international students studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. We initially formed the group out of a need for chamber music credits, but it quickly became more about the relationships within the group and our joined wish to create beautiful music and interesting projects. That wish led us to work outside of our school, on the radio (Concertzender in Utrecht) and in different smaller projects playing varying repertoire. All that allowed us to present the wide ranging and highly diverse program that we will perform here for you today. In these turbulent times, while picking a name, we decided to choose one that reflects our musical mission, which is to spread musical excitement and bring hope (espoir in French) and perhaps a new perspective to our audience. Hopefully this concert achieves that goal.”
